1. Comprehensive Maintenance Activities for Industrial Areas

Details: Assisted TGIIC in selecting a specialized agency for comprehensive maintenance of IALA Nanakramguda and IALA Madhapur.

Assisted Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation Limited (TGIIC) in selection of a specialized Agency to carry out Comprehensive Maintenance activities covering Mechanical Road Sweeping, Litter Collection, Road Verge Maintenance, Drains Cleaning, Road Pot-holes repair & Patchworks and handling of commercial & bulk solid waste along with security services for Industrial Area Local Authority (IALA) Nanakramguda and IALA, Madhapur in the city of Hyderabad as part of TGIIC’s objective to ensure hygiene, operational efficiency and environmental management. ISOL Consultants were the Project Advisors and the Scope of Work included defining BoQs / Specifications along with Detailed Estimates, preparation of Tender Documents and Bid Process Management. The services were rendered during 2020-21. The Estimated Project Value: Around 5 Crores (excluding GST).

2. Prototyping Centre Machinery Procurement

Details: Assisted T Works in procuring machinery/equipment for the prototyping and skill development center.

ISOL Consultants acted as Procurement Advisors to T Works, India’s largest prototyping Centre for electronics, electromechanical and mechanical start-ups for selection of various Suppliers for supply of machinery & equipment. Scope of Work included preparation of Tender documents and Bid Process Management for procurement of various machinery/equipment. The services were rendered during 2020-21.

Project Brief: To create an ecosystem of product development and manufacturing in electronics, electromechanical and mechanical domains, Department of ITE&C of Government of Telangana initiated setting up of a world class prototyping facility which would also house an incubation Centre and a skill development Centre. This facility is called T Works. The Vision is to create and celebrate the culture of makers, doers, creators, tinkerers and inventors in India. ISOL Consultants assisted T Works in procurement of advanced machinery /equipment for establishment of the Prototyping cum skill Development Centre at Hyderabad. The Estimated Project Value: Around Rs.10 Crores (excluding GST).

3. Medical Oxygen Plants Tendering

Details: Supported TGIIC in tendering PSA-based Oxygen Generating Plants for public health facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ISOL Consultants acted as Transaction Advisory Consultants to TGIIC for tendering “Setting up of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) based Oxygen Generating Plants along with Establishment of Medical Oxygen Supply Lines at Public Health Facilities across the State of Telangana on “Turnkey” basis and thereafter operate & manage the established Facilities for three Years. The Scope of Work included defining BoQs and Technical Specifications, preparation of Tender Documents and Bid Process Management. The services were rendered during 2021-22.

Project Brief: In view of then Carona pandemic and also considering the severity of second wave of COVID-19, there was a significant need of supply of Medical Oxygen, Oxygen Concentrators, Oxygen Cylinders and Oxygen Plants which are vital for treatment of patients. In view of the apprehensions that there could be a possibility of third wave which could likely to have wider impact than the earlier wave, the Government of Telangana (GoT) had taken various measures to counter the effects of the COVID-19. In order to ensure that there is no shortage of supply of oxygen or any other related medical equipment based on then current and future requirements, GoT intended to invite bids from the manufacturers for supply of Medical Oxygen. ISOL Consultants assisted TGIIC, the Nodal Agency of GoT in procurement of the Supplier. The Estimated Project Value: Around Rs.45 Crores (excluding GST).

4. Laboratory and Pilot Plant Equipment Procurement

Details: Assisting TGIIC in procurement of R&D Laboratory, Quality Testing Laboratory equipment, and reactors for Pilot Plant.

ISOL Consultants acted as Transaction Advisory Consultants to TGIIC for “procurement of 1. R & D Laboratory equipment, 2. Quality Testing Laboratory equipment and 3. Reactors for Pilot Plant on Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning basis for setting up of a Lab at TGIIC developed Industrial Park at Pashamylaram (V), Patancheru (M), Sanga Reddy (Dist.), Telangana. The Scope of Work included defining BoQs / Technical Specifications along with Estimates, preparation of Tender Documents and Bid Process Management. The services are ongoing.

Project Brief: Hyderabad Pharmaceutical cluster is recognized as a bulk drug capital of India, with a lion’s share of around one third in the Country’s total bulk drug production. It is a naturally evolved cluster. It accommodates about 30 large players and around 400 SMEs with more than 2/3rd of the SMEs are bulk drug units.

In this connection, the establishment of Common Infrastructure was mooted by the Cluster of Pharma Bulk Drug Industry of Pashamylaram Industrial Park, Hyderabad with financial support from both State & Central Governments. Accordingly, Government of Telangana in support with the Department for industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India had decided to set up the following Common Infrastructure thereat:

Setting up of Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP) with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) System with installed Capacity of 0.50 MLD.
Analytical (Quality Testing) Lab.
R&D Lab; and
Pilot Plant.

The Estimated Project Value: Around Rs.32 Crores (excluding GST).

5. Safety Works Execution at Biodiversity Park

Client: TGIIC
Location: Hyderabad, Telangana
Scope of Work: Tender documents preparation, BoQs, Bid Process Management
Estimated Project Value: Around ₹12 Crores (excluding GST)
Duration: 2020-21
Details: Advised TGIIC on safety works for mitigating hazards at the road adjacent to Biodiversity Park, Hitech City.

ISOL Consultants acted as Transaction Advisory Consultants to TGIIC for tendering “Execution of safety works at the road adjacent to Bio-diversity Park, Hitech city, Hyderabad of TGIIC Cyberabad Zone in the state of Telangana for mitigating hazards”. The Scope of Work included preparation of Tender documents in reference to the Drone Survey Report of IIT, Hyderabad, defining BoQs and Bid Process Management. The services were rendered during the year 2020-21.

Project Brief: Hyderabad Knowledge City which falls under IALA, Madhapur of Cyberabad Zone of TSIIC has grown phenomenally in the last few years with many new offices / buildings coming up thereat. Some of the noteworthy buildings are T-Hub’s iconic building (T-Hub - a Government of Telangana’s initiative for fostering innovation ecosystem), T Works (World’s largest Prototyping Centre), etc. To meet the fast-increasing demand of better connectivity for the increased traffic, TGIIC had constructed a new carriageway of around 850 metre connecting internal roads of Hyderabad Knowledge City with the Old Mumbai Highway joining the same adjacent to Bio-diversity Park. The new road was constructed by drilling the hillock thereat to create a passage for the road. Therefore, to mitigate the hazard for the carriageway users from loose boulders on the hilltop and rock slope falling on to the carriageway, TGIIC had decided to take up slope stability and safety works thereat on a turnkey basis. The Estimated Project Value: Around Rs.12 Crores (excluding GST).

6. Solid Waste Resource Management for Andhra Pradesh

Clients: Centre for Good Governance (CGG) and Ascent Leadership Management Consultants (P) Ltd.
Location: Andhra Pradesh
Scope of Work: Estimates Calculator, Model Tender Documents, Model Service Agreements
Duration: 2016-17
Details: Assisted in preparing standardized documents for solid waste management in 110 Urban Local Bodies of Andhra Pradesh.

ISOL Consultants acted as a Sub-Consultant and provided Procurement Advisory Services to the Consortium of Centre for Good Governance (CGG) and Ascent Leadership Management Consultants (P) Ltd., for AP Solid Waste Resource Management PMU for preparation of “Estimates Calculator (in MS Excel), Model Tender Documents and Model Service Agreements for the Work Packages of Mechanical Road Sweeping, Residential Micro Pockets Management and Commercial & Bulk Waste Management. The services were rendered during the year 2016-17.

Project Brief: The Department of Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD), Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) issued a G.O Ms. No. 279 dated 31.12.2015 with detailed Operational Guidelines for streamlining the solid waste handling activities and maintenance of sanitation in all the 110 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of Andhra Pradesh (A.P) in a uniform, efficient and standardized manner.

In order to operationalize the provisions of the said G.O, the Department of MA&UD, GoAP had set up a State level Project Management Unit (PMU) in A.P to support the ULBs with required capacity building and handholding. One of the key requirements as per the guidelines was to develop standard templates and documents for preparing estimates, tender documents and service agreements for procuring services of contracting agencies in implementing various Work Packages involved in Solid waste Resource Management in various ULBs.
